PROJECT RESULTS
ACE-EX works to renew the European agricultural and industrial sector by stimulating the assimilation of skills related to sustainable methodologies and the Circular Economy. The results the project pursues derive from an interdisciplinary method combining innovation, training and cooperation.
With the joint action of its international partners, ACE-EX is realising a training pathway that incorporates state-of-the-art technologies to address environmental challenges, promote sustainability and enhance the skills of professionals in the agricultural and industrial sectors, outlining a more efficient and sustainable future for the entire industry.
Report on Circular Economy Practices
The research examines in detail the current practices and needs of the agricultural and industrial sectors, with a particular focus on the concepts of Circular Economy and sustainability; it also carries out a critical evaluation of the educational offerings provided by the partners to identify specific improvements that meet the needs of the target audience. The report highlights deficiencies in existing training programmes, suggesting the introduction of new training modules that can fill these gaps, thus ensuring a more extensive and meaningful educational outcome.
Matrix of Qualifications
This document outlines the learning outcomes that the partnership has agreed constitutes the main aspects of the Agriculture Circular Economy Expert. The document consists of two competence matrices with nine units each. Most of the content was provided through the work done in Work Package (WP) 2, with some necessary adaptations implemented. The partnership has had a chance to comment it, and the document has been through one round of internal review.
The qualification matrices are based on the European Qualification Framework (EQF), using learning outcomes covering responsibility and autonomy, knowledge and skills. The learning outcomes form part of the basis for the training programmes to be developed in WP 4, which is why there are two matrices, one on EQF level 4 and one on level 5. In addition to the learning outcomes, this document includes a set of assessment criteria for each matrix.

A cutting-edge training programme that embraces different subject areas, interweaving theoretical and applied elements through state-of-the-art teaching technologies. The curriculum aims to equip professionals with the skills required to implement the principles of the Circular Economy within the agricultural sector, thus contributing to increased sustainability and efficiency. The teaching material will be available in English and the partner countries’ languages for a total of ten language versions.
