Το Έργο ACE-EX συμβάλλει στον μετασχηματισμό της ευρωπαϊκής γεωργίας μέσω της ενσωμάτωσης των αρχών της κυκλικής οικονομίας για την προώθηση ενός βιώσιμου και φιλικού προς το περιβάλλον μοντέλου γεωργικής παραγωγής. Το έργο είναι απόλυτα εναρμονισμένο με τις ευρωπαϊκές οδηγίες για την Πράσινη Συμφωνία. Στόχος του είναι να ελαχιστοποιήσει τις περιβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις, να εκπαιδεύσει εμπειρογνώμονες υψηλής εξειδίκευσης, να συμμετάσχει στην καταπολέμηση της κλιματικής αλλαγής και να προωθήσει οικονομική ανάπτυξη φιλική προς το περιβάλλον. Το ACE-EX υπογραμμίζει τη σημασία της συνεχούς επικαιροποίησης των δεξιοτήτων στον γεωργικό και βιομηχανικό τομέα, ώστε να συμβαδίζουν με τις τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις και τις προκλήσεις που επιβάλλει η κλιματική αλλαγή.
Ιστορικό Έργου
Το Έργο ACE-EX ενεργεί σε ένα πλαίσιο στο οποίο η γεωργική καινοτομία διαδραματίζει κρίσιμο ρόλο στην αντιμετώπιση των προκλήσεων που επιβάλλονται από την κλιματική αλλαγή και την ανάγκη προστασίας της βιοποικιλότητας. Η τρέχουσα μέθοδος παραγωγής γεωργικών προϊόντων πρέπει να χρησιμοποιεί τα υποπροϊόντα στο έπακρο και απαιτεί μια στροφή προς ένα πιο βιώσιμο σύστημα. Οι προβλέψεις υπογραμμίζουν τον επείγοντα χαρακτήρα της δράσης: μέχρι το 2050, οι επιπτώσεις της αποτυχίας αλλαγής των σημερινών μεθόδων παραγωγής θα μπορούσαν επίσης να μεταφραστούν σε πολλές ζωές που χάνονται κάθε χρόνο.
Εν όψει των ταχέων τεχνολογικών και κλιματικών αλλαγών, η συνεχής ενημέρωση των δεξιοτήτων όσων εργάζονται στον τομέα είναι απαραίτητη. Το ACE-EX υπογραμμίζει τη σημασία της κυκλικής οικονομίας, μιας πρακτικής που αγκαλιάζεται στη γεωργία και τη βιομηχανία και αποτελεί κινητήρια δύναμη για την επαγγελματική κατάρτιση. Ευθυγραμμίζεται με το Σχέδιο Δράσης για την Κυκλική Οικονομία και τους στόχους της Ευρωπαϊκής Πράσινης Συμφωνίας, προωθώντας τη βιώσιμη και με σεβασμό οικονομική ανάπτυξη.
Το ACE-EX αναγνωρίζει και αντιμετωπίζει τα ζητήματα του τομέα των μικρών επιχειρήσεων, τονίζοντας την ανάγκη για εξειδικευμένα προγράμματα σπουδών που θα διευκολύνουν την υιοθέτηση πρακτικών Κυκλικής Οικονομίας.
